************* The Short Self-Pitch (SSP) *********************

Hi. I am Shyanne Robinson, a very eager event professional currently

residing in Atlanta, GA. With little formal training, but an abundance

of on-site experience in the event management industry, I am looking to

assist a trained professional in the field. My most recent position was

with the 2008 Democratic National Convention where I helped plan the

convention from start to finish working directly under the Chief of

Staff and the Director of Housing as their Assistants, and was

eventually promoted to an Associate Director. I have a degree in

Political Science and am currently seeking positions to assist in the

overall event management, catering or décor areas. Although my formal

training is in Political Science, event management is where my heart

lies. I have a very small home-based company where I plan social events

for friends and associates but I would desperately love to jump head

first into large-scale events like I managed while working for the

Convention. If anyone knows of an event professional looking to hire a

seasoned assistant, one who is dedicated and passionate about planning

events of all kinds, please think of me. My resume is available on the

following link:

http://www.jobfox.com/people/ShyanneRobinson

Thank you.

Best regards,

Shyanne D. Robinson
