*** One Paragraph Pitch:

Dios Mio! Have we forgotten how to communicate? In this era of e-mail, texting and Tweets, suddenly brevity trumps clarity. Emoticons replace true emotion. And ubiquitous acronyms shortchange, rather than shorten, our creative expression (IMHO). But there’s hope! Experienced advertising writer/Creative Director seeks freelance/full-time opportunity to make your communications have real meaning to real people. See examples of my work at bobkochuk.com (and read my mercifully brief White Paper on how to re-do the writing voodoo you did so well). Start a dialogue at bkochuk@gmail.com. Or simply call 919-358-4300 to talk to the man himself. Limited time offer. Hurry, before an improving economy snatches me away. Bob Kochuk

*** Surface Warships 2012

Exploring the Future of Global Surface Combatant Fleets In a highly uncertain strategic environment, the ability to use the majority of the world’s surface, and reach most of its population makes maritime forces those of choice for the world’s main actors and their allies – and surface warships are key components of such forces. Their need to police the oceans against the dual threats of terrorism and piracy make surface warship programmes a crucial and indispensable part of the future maritime environment.

Surface Warships will provide the ideal environment for industry and naval professional to discuss innovative future designs and the need to keep current vessels battle ready through capability upgrades and refits.
