Washington DC housing association seeks full-time Meeting Planner.

Duties include all aspects related to the coordination of conferences

including: solicitation of hotel bids; site inspection and selection; hotel contract negotiations; audiovisual and meeting room coordination; food and beverage planning; budgeting; entertainment; soliciting sponsorships; working closely with speakers, exhibitors, registrants.

Additional functions include arranging travel for staff and presenters, and working with decorating and drayage companies. Prior experience and

attention to detail is a must. Travel required. Salary low 60’s plus
