Dear Subscribers,

Many of you may have noticed that you have not received a HEPN newsletter from me since October 2012. This is due to technical issues with Topica, which has been the Internet platform for HEPN since 2006. I am not the only one with these issues sending emails.    I have published HEPN on the blog since then, while trying to resolve the issues with Topica. Unfortunately, as the HEPN list is part of their “free discussion list” service, the problem is not the same as something affecting their paid services or customers. They can’t explain why it’s happening, and have not been able to fix it.    As a result, I have migrated the list and HEPN to MailChimp, which has an upgraded subscribe/unsubscribe feature, as well as a way for you to share HEPN with your friends. I hope you will find this user experience to be an improvement.    Thank you for your patience and loyalty to HEPN.
