While at anchor two robbers from a small boat boarded a bulk carrier using hooks and ropes.

They broke into the forecastle store and started lowering them in the water. Alert crew noticed the robbers and raised the alarm resulting in the robbers aborting and escaping without anything.

Unnoticed, robbers boarded a berthed product tanker. Duty crew on routine rounds noticed the mooring rope on the winch was cut off. Alarm raised, crew mustered, and a search was carried out. Incident reported to PFSO.
