Your Job of the Week listing can be posted in the next issue (Monday morning), along with the other 50 to 100 job opportunities. The newsletter will then be posted here at www.nedsjotw.com. To submit a job, send the listing to lundquist989@cs.com. This is a free service.

If you want to immediately push your job listing-–by itself--out to the network of nearly 10,000 professional communicators, I can send it out as a “Can’t Wait” posting for $300 for highest impact and instant results. “Can’t Wait” postings are also posted here on this website, and can also be posted in the next newsletter for maximum exposure. This gives your posting the highest impact.

2007 EXCEL Award: Call for Nominations

Is your CEO, managing director or president a top communicator?

If yes, he/she should be nominated for this top award. The IABC EXCEL (Excellence in Communication Leadership) Award recognizes contributions to business communication by an organizational leader, who is not a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). These contributions include initiating, directing, supporting or sustaining outstanding and effective communication programs. Both members and non-members may make nominations.

Nominations and payment must be received by 12 January 2007.

What's a podcast -- and why should you care?

What do Disney, IBM, Purina and Whirlpool have in common? They're all producing podcasts to build their brands. Some of these organizations are using podcasts internally, too, to motivate and educate employees. (Podcasting is a way to easily publish audio files to the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed and receive new files automatically.)
