After assessing Collective Brands' growth we elevated one of our communications lead positions here to Director and could use your help finding strong candidates. This is the Director of Business Unit Communication & Social Responsibility and will oversee internal communication and CSR for our Payless ShoeSource and Performance + LifeStyle Group (PLG) units (the latter includes Stride Rite, Saucony, Sperry Top-Sider and Keds). The position is based in Kansas and will oversee a permanent staff of 4-6 plus contractors. Our CEO got his degree in communication and has a passion for it shared by the entire senior leadership team.

Our Payless brand was named a top “Breakaway Brand” for 2009 by Landor Associates and our PLG brands — particulary Saucony and Sperry Top-Sider, have enjoyed tremendous growth in the past several years.
