Description of Duties:

 

Strategic Planning for the Modeling and Simulation Department within the Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC).

 

Revise program processes and instructions to enable a system of systems approach to managing all aspects of the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE).

 

Perform analysis and/or evaluation of existing NWDC systems to improve existing system engineering processes and develop new processes as required.

 

Provide system engineering support to risk management and mitigation activity to include defining the risk management plan, implementing appropriate tools, risk monitoring, and /or development of risk mitigation plans.

 

Requirements for the Position:

 

•             Master’s degree in Management, Technology, or Information Systems.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

•             15+ years relevant experience.

•             Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.

•             Experience with Organizational Change – to include conducting the analysis and implementation of change.

•             Experience in Risk Management.

•             Experience systems engineering – process improvement.

•             Proficiency with using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

•             US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Secret). Must have an active Secret clearance.

•             Must be available to travel as required.

Description of Duties:

 

This is a temporary part-time position.

 

Advise and partner with hiring managers to develop and implement recruiting strategy.  Manage hiring activities from requisition stage to onboarding new hires.  Source, review and evaluate resumes, prescreen and interview applicants, and make recommendations for selection.    Coordinate and attend recruiting events. Maintain and update applicant records; recruiting documents, metrics, and OFCCP compliance data, etc.  Perform other Human Resources duties as needed.
